Assisting the HR department, I work to improve communication within the company's West Monroe division by designing and creating the location's first quarterly newsletters, blending the requirements of managers and creating new content. By making changes to their current communication strategies, I am striving to make available information more beneficial and appealing to everyone, and improve the overall culture of the Mill.

Sales Representative

Designs By Kacy

Using a personal selling approach, I worked to increase sales in the Ruston area by informing business owners/potential customers of our services and arranging meetings between the prospective clients and Kacy Hibbard. I maintained a list of clients acquired as well as potential clients. Door to door and cold-call selling techniques were used.

About Me...

I am currently a Senior at Louisiana Tech University graduating in November with a degree in Marketing from the College of Business and Honors College. In addition to my business courses, I took art classes available in the department of Communication Design and soon fell in love with Adobe Creative Suite. I have been using it to create pieces used for communication with the public and company employees ever since. I enjoy knowing that what I create is useful, informative, and intriguing to viewers and the companies that I have worked for. In my internships I have also created and maintained public blog posts, written press releases for public events, and studied and helped to improve communication techniques within a company of almost eight-hundred employees. I love bringing creativity and innovation in to the workplace whether that is done by delivering an important message to employees, or drawing in interest from the public. I'm looking forward to life after graduation and all of the professional opportunities in store. I hope you enjoy my portfolio!
