  • Performing reservoir evaluations to recommend and implement necessary technical and operational actions e.g. infill drilling, well recompletion and workover programs, or abandonment
  • Providing reservoir engineering support for geologists, sub-surface scientists, and production/drilling engineers in multi-disciplined asset teams
  • Performing petrophysical analysis to support geologists in exploration and reservoir characterization
  • Attending different operation meetings to select the perforations intervals for (Development & Exploratory & Re-completion) wells and the optimum completion type
  • Analysing production data: performance evaluation, reserve estimation, forecast , Decline Curve Analysis (DCA) for Oil and Gas phases, Material Balance, and reporting
  • Interpreting open and cased-hole logs (quick look & interpretation by IP* and Techlog*)
  • Analysing RFT/RDT data to determine: the fluid gradient, contacts, and reservoir communication
  • Interpreting PTA (Pressure Transient Analysis) data and designing test for Black Oil, Gas Condensate, and Dry Gas wells (KAPPA Engineering-Saphir)
  • Evaluating Reservoir & Wells performance and make surveillance (AVOCET OFM*)
  • Following up and QA/QC the PVT and SCAL lab work
  • Analysing reservoir fluid property and EOS modelling for Black Oil and Gas Condensate (PVTi* & PVTP) & fluid model (Petrel* RE)
  • Analysing conventional and special core data (RCAL & SCAL)
  • Integrating Well Performance/Nodal Analysis, PTA, Material Balance, Volumetric, and DCA data in the process of reservoir evaluation
  • Optimising selection of Improved and Enhanced Oil Recovery scenario (IOR & EOR)
  • Quality checking (QA/QC) 3D static reservoir models (Petrel*)
  • Building dynamic reservoir simulation models (Petrel* RE & Eclipse* 100) for History Matching & prediction of reservoir performance & defining optimal field development plans (FDP) including different depletion scenarios
