Art Classes

I started teaching basic level art classes to children about a year ago. I am taking 6 children per class. Two classes a week for a 10 week session. I am teaching them how to use materials, such as, charcoal pencils, watercolors, acrylics and clay. We are learning how to mix colors and draw correctly.

I would like to teach a beginner adult class this winter. So please email if there is any interest.

Education

Education
Sep 1982 - Dec 1986

Bachelor of Science

University of Maryland, College Park

I completed a 4 year degree majoring in advertising design and minoring in art history. A traditional graphic design program was being taught. Hand-craft skills such as design sketching, layout and paste up were the industry standard at the time. Several years later the industry changed over to computer graphics and desktop publishing. For the next 18 years I had a career as a full time graphic designer.
