Based in Sarasota, Florida, Henry Rodriguez holds responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer of Woodmere Capital Group, LLC (WCG). Henry Rodriguez has been closely connected with the Sarasota community for more than a decade and currently holds appointments as Commissioner of the Sarasota-Manatee Airport Authority, and as board member of Enterprise Florida (replacing the Commerce Department of Florida). After graduating from Broward Community College, Mr. Rodriguez accepted responsibilities as President of Sensormatic Del Caribe, eventually selling the firm to its parent company Sensormatic (now Tyco Fire & Security). He established the company LDC Telecommunications in 1995, building a large commercial customer base prior to the firm’s 1998 sale to LDI International. Henry Rodriguez founded Woodmere Capital Group in 2011, establishing a number of private ventures directed by the WCG management team in Sarasota. Over the past 11 years he has overseen strategic investment in numerous commercial and residential properties, notably selling and entitling more than 2,000 residential units. He has also directed investments in land entitled with close to 1,000,000 square feet. WCG operates as the parent company for a number of affiliated firms, including Woodmere Capital Management, LLC; Woodmere Realty Advisors, LLC; and Woodmere Equity Solutions, LLC. These real estate companies have a core focus on serving the distressed lending segment of the commercial real estate market, offering borrowers and lenders pathways towards liquidity. Henry Rodriguez, his wife Susanne, and their two children maintain close ties with the Sarasota community through support for the Sarasota Chapter for Habitat for Humanity and a number of other local charities.
