An experienced fluids-management professional, Henry Froats has extensive first-hand knowledge of the technologies and techniques that enable oil and gas companies to harness the power of shale. Henry Froats is a native of southwestern Pennsylvania, where he currently resides with his wife. Froats serves as Regional Business Development Manager for Rockwater Energy Solutions in the Northeast Region. The Canonsburg, Pennsylvania-based company provides fluids conditioning, management, and technology services to oil and gas firms, helping them to take advantage of newly discovered resources in the Marcellus and Utica Shale Plays. Froats oversees Rockwater’s Northeast U.S. sales team and supports the Regional Vice President’s business development activities, identifying fluids-management needs and pursuing new opportunities throughout the region.Prior to becoming Regional Business Development Manager, Froats worked as Operations Supervisor for Rockwater’s previous embodiment, Red Oak Water Transfer in Avella, Pennsylvania. In this capacity, Froats led a team of 35 field workers, coordinating operations and ensuring that client projects were completed efficiently and on time. The position gave Froats a strong understanding of field logistics and helped to hone his leadership ability, two characteristics that have been central to his rise in the field of fluids management.Beyond his professional experience, Froats received a diploma in Language and Culture from an immersive program in Castelraimondo, Italy in 2001. Froats continued to live in Italy after completing his studies, deepening his understanding of the country’s cultural and linguistic heritage. Henry Froats’ outside interests extend beyond Italy; he has traveled extensively, visiting Israel, Argentina, and South Africa, among other countries. He remains passionate about Italian history, reads widely, and enjoys running and the gym.
Earned a diploma in Language and Culture through a full immersion program in Castelraimondo Italy (they wont save unless I put a state in, its not in PA). I lived in Supino Italy for some time after graduating and continued my learning of the Italian Language and Culture.
