I am currently a defense contractor assisting in the development of interfaces for our main TIS contract. The TIS contract includes an application suite known as the Transportation Coordinator's Automated Information for Movements System (TCAIMS-II). This system helps coordinate personnel movement and equipment movement for our military personnel. I manage the interfaces that are involved with third party vendors that are involved with this system. In addition, I provide assistance on the transition of this system from a back end Sybase platform to Sql Server.

Responsible for directing the software development group in creating applications that handled a suite of products we manufactured. Our products were geared toward making regular meters "smart meters", by employing a collar that the meter seated to. In addition to managing the group, I also helped develop the solutions we built. Some of the other duties I performed were: * Created and administered all tables/views/stored procedures for our solutions in Sql Server 2008. * Created and developed 2008 .Net application for controlling metering devices in the field. * Designed and created our Multispeak 3.0 interface using C# and Web Services. * Developed hand-held application using WM6 and GPS for device tracking. * Administered all routers and switches and configured each for optimal performance. * Configured DHCP/DNS servers to dynamically facilitate IP assignments.

UAI was mainly a GIS company that built software to automate the process of creating maps for electric utilities. We created the software entirely in-house, and included everything from field editing, to outage management. Some of the duties I performed included: * Implemented Server to Server Sql Server replication spanning multiple counties. * Created GIS Field solution utilizing ESRI Map Objects and Arc Objects. * Implemented GPS solution for automated tracking and field staking. * Created Oracle back-end for integration to IVR systems. * Designed and implemented a documentation management system to associate pictures and files to objects within our mapping solution. * Created custom controls to allow users to easily manipulate and edit data for our mapping solution. * Constructed “publishing” and “subscribing” applications to allow our users the capability to easily publish and subscribe data. * Co-implemented Multispeak 1.1 and 2.2 – XML based solutions to allow generic interfacing with multiple vendors. * Created web services in C# .NET to easily allow a participating vendor to call functions designed to update customer info and usage data. * Responsible for all Microsoft SQL Server scripts/database functions.

LifeCom developed software to help hospitals run more efficiently. We developed applications for hospital staff to assign themselves to patient rooms, receive automated radio page texts for patient requests, and a variety of other things. My duties included: * Developed nurse call applications targeted for patient care. * Created our firmware integrated nurse call software to allow operators at a central location to take control of audio and receive patient requests from their rooms. * Co-developed “interactor” software to allow nursing staff to assign themselves to patient rooms and receive patient requests via radiopage sent from central dispatchers. * Developed “radiopage” applications designed to alert nursing staff as to patient care needs. * Co-implemented tracking system software to automatically close nursing requests when a nurse enters a patient room. * Developed interfaces using Winsock to various third party vendors. * Created reports for management to assess staff response efficiency.
