Summary

James Welsh is an independent graphic designer and brand strategist working in Ottawa, Canada.

Prior to setting up his self-named design consultancy, James worked for Canada’s Post Office (www.canadapost.ca) as Manager, Brand Development. In this consultative role, he helped internal teams with product and service naming, brand strategy, and brand identity projects. His major accomplishment was the development of a Brand Revitalization Plan for the entire corporation.

Prior to Canada Post, James was co-owner of Victory Design Inc. an award-winning graphic design studio. He lead a team of designers working for clients such as the National Gallery of Canada, the Canadian International Development Agency, the Royal Canadian Mint and the Canadian Museum of Civilization.

James is a Professional member of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada and is a graduate of the prestigious Sheridan College Graphic Design Program.
