Legacy Health

Facilitate new parent/infant groups in East County once a week. Recruit community guest speakers, gather and provide resources pertinent to group. Maintain group email list.

Interpretive Exhibits

Fabricate leaves and work with dried natural material to create small trees for natural history exhibit. Work as needed to help with fabrication of exhibits.

Volunteer as needed at Richmond Dual Immersion Public School. Serve on Arts Committee, Scrip Committee, assist with book fair, classroom support, auction donations. Current focus: Spring Festival 2010 logo, poster, banner, and T-shirt design; Solicit vendor quotes and prepare artwork for production;  Programming assistance , and vendor outreach.

Oregon Zoo

Fabricate and finish full-size scale, teeth, skull, copralites, and footprint for summer Dinosaur exhibit with epoxy, resin, and cement. Assist with making vines and cement rocks. Assist with painting mural for primates remodel, paint finish on Predators of the Serengeti exhibit, and other projects as a volunteer.

Summary

I am passionate about creatively connecting people to the natural world. I use multi-sensory methods to bridge information for hard-to-reach populations. I also facilitate communication and healing through creative arts experiences.
