About Hayley Ninnis

As a clothes designer and seamstress, Hayley Ninnis attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia until she decided to pursue a career as a psychologist. Relocating to West Chester, Pennsylvania, she earned her associate degree in psychology from Delaware County Community College and is currently working toward her undergraduate degree at Penn State. Next steps for Hayley include plans to obtain her MBA at Penn State, where she can combine her passion for helping people and her business expertis, into a rewarding career. Also an avid student of power vinyasa yoga, Hayley Ninnis intends to complete the 200 hours of training necessary to obtain her teaching certification from Power Yoga Works in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

Hayley Ninnis’ dual passions combine in the field of integrative yoga therapy, a healing practice that utilizes yoga’s numerous health and wellness benefits. She has a particular interest in the ways in which yoga can be used to manage depression, anxiety, high blood pressure, and the side effects of various cancer treatments. Because integrative yoga therapy looks upon the mind, body, and spirit as one interconnected entity, Ms. Ninnis believes that it can achieve results that “go beyond” those of traditional medicine.
