Research Interest & Experience

Research Interests:

Human Values|Software Engineering | Software Traceability| ICT4D

Research student, Monash University, Clayton campus (March 2018 - Present)

Operationalizing Values in Software(OVIS) ; Web: www.ovislab.net

A PhD scholar at Monash University is working on the project of Operationalizing Values in Software under the supervision of Professor Jon Whittle focusing on incorporating and tracing human values in software systems and processes. While people have recognized human values as a mostly neglected, yet an essential software requirement, the project of "tracing human values in software" is trying to use existing traceability techniques to better trace human values in software.

Research collaboration with Stockholm University, Sweden (Jan 2016 - Mar 2017)

Identifying and Analysing the Future of Telecentres in Emerging Regions

Collaborated as a member of a research group under the supervision of Dr Sirkku Männikkö from Dept of Computer and Systems Sciences, Stockholm University. This research is in the field of ICT4D and specifically identifying and analysing the use of Telecentres and its future in Emerging Regions.

Final Year Research Project (Jan - Dec 2014)

Criminal Shortlisting and Crime forecasting based on Modus Operandi

Comparing several crimes performed by the same criminal will reveal a specific Modus Operandi pattern for an individual or a group. This research suggests a model in shortlisting criminal suspects by identifying patterns using an M.O feature set and a model derived from a machine learning approach. The project was a multidisciplinary project of machine learning and Criminology
