  • Monitored and coordinated global sourcing of fabrics and raw materials stored at factories, mills, and warehouses locally and overseas.
  • Coordinated worldwide Production operations, yield and quality control.Managed all finished goods distribution logistics. Processes include ASN, EDI, partial shipments and replenishment fulfillment tailored to meet customers’ specific needs.

Selected Accomplishments

Restructured department to meet record-keeping requirements.  Recruited to turn around Nina McLemore Inc.’s accounting department.  Implemented policies and SOPs to produce accurate financial reports.  Increased timeliness of month-end reporting from 90 to 30 days, and simplified audit procedure reducing billable hours by 30%.

Stabilized financial infrastructure to sustain rapid company growth.  M. London required a total reorganization of their finance, accounting, inventory, collection and customer service functions within a very short time.  Built and deployed a formal and scalable financial system within four months, enabling and supporting the company’s aggressive expansion.

Reengineered infrastructure, decreasing expenses.  Market conditions forced the consolidation of Clothiers/RIC Apparel Group.  Planned and orchestrated the company’s financial restructuring, integrating multiple locations, saving over $160K per year.

Captured lost revenues.  Clothiers/RIC Apparel Group was absorbing excessive chargebacks from major customers without raising questions.  Reached out to customers, resolving areas of contention with documentary support.  Reduced chargebacks by over 80%, totaling more than $200K in revenue recapture for the company.

Started up finance department.  SG Energie (USA) Corp was new to energy trading and had the potential to grow exponentially in the segment.  Created an accounting organizational structure that anticipated this opportunity, supporting expansion from $300M to $1.2 billion in two years without need for added personnel.
