Mumbai, India Senior Research Analyst The role is divided into two main parts: Gain Technical Expertise of statistical models Become subject matter expert of statistical aspects of conjoint models and conduct literature review to stay updated on the best practices. Conceptualize and contribute to various R&D projects based on team goals for the year. Provide Technical consulting to internal Nielsen associates and external Nielsen Clients. Assisting local account leaders during the study proposal phase and finding the most appropriate modeling solution to the client business question. Be present in final client meetings to answer any model related questions and interpretations. Key Projects: Experimental Design Tool-Creation and Defining Process for the use of tool: Took complete ownership of this project and created a VBA based tool which generates the experimental design for all Nielsen conjoint solutions. Automation of Design process reduced the design generation timelines from 2 days to 4 hours, positively impacting project timelines. Internal Validation Project: This project was to study the impact of systematic biases in the conjoint models of Nielsen. We came across a set of benchmark(depending on category and geography) to deal with biases, and this had an impact on sample size requirements for conjoint studies.
