I am the technical writer for Panasonic Energy Corporation of America at the Lithium Battery Division in Columbus, Georgia. I have experience in document design, content management, and information design. I have developed user and administrator manuals and reference guides, business documentation, and corporate social event materials.
I have a keen interest and passion for pioneering systems of technical documentation for organizations and learning about the various tools and other resources available for doing so. I am familiar with a variety of software programs that I have used to develop training materials, including--but not limited to--the following Adobe products:
InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder, and Audition.
I am also available for freelance projects in areas of technical or business documentation. Feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have a request.
Over several tests, I have been consistently typed as INFJ according to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator identifies INFJ (Introvert, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging) as the rarest personality type, making up less than 1% of the world population. The Myers&Briggs Foundation site's description of INFJ:
"Seek meaning and connection in ideas, relationships, and material possessions. Want to understand what motivates people and are insightful about others. Conscientious and committed to their firm values. Develop a clear vision about how best to serve the common good. Organized and decisive in implementing their vision."

I'm part of the Quality Engineering Department and work as the first and only Technical Writer for the Lithium Battery Division at PECA. I develop the operations guides and work instructions for the plant's assembly lines, write procedures, and emphasize concepts relevant to ISO/TS 16949 conformance in my work. I work closely with subject matter experts (assembly line supervisors) to learn the operations and assess the needs of each audience. I then create original language and graphics to most appropriately convey the information. My role in the company is to create and establish the necessary professional technical documentation for the satisfaction of quality requirements and to contribute to the continual improvement of the company's operations.
Created (designed and developed content for) the following:
•Original templates for operation guides and work instructions
•Graphics to illustrate and represent product parts, tasks, and important concepts such as SIPOC
•Professional work instructions and operation guides for assembly lines that manufacture lithium batteries
•Troubleshooting guide for investigating equipment when specific manufacturing defects occur

I worked part-time for one year on the 2nd South Nursing Unit and part-time the second year in Mother/Baby Services. My responsibilities included restocking patients' rooms with water and supplies, transporting items to and from the lab, helping with newborn care in the nursery, and handling secretarial tasks at the nurses' desks, such as answering questions and properly disposing of confidential information.
I designed a promotional poster to distribute across the Auburn University campus for recruiting students to become interested in working for Campus Web Solutions.
I developed a promotional flyer for Auburn University OIT employees to distribute to potential co-op students during the co-op program interview day.
I wrote and designed the project estimate-agreement template to be used for business between the Campus Web Solutions team and their clients.
This manual is for using the Campus Event Planning System, designed by a member of the Campus Web Solutions web development team I work with. The site itself is unique to Auburn University, and my documentation serves primarily as an administrative guide, though it can also be helpful to users as well as other web developers at the university who may later become involved with the site.
This is a summary and reflection on a brief article I read about ethical issues in the hospitality industry for a course in hospitality and restaurant management.
I designed a graphic for a photographer to use for business. The graphic can be manipulated to serve as a business card or re-sized into a poster for advertisement.
I worked with three other document design team members to redesign a package of event planning documents for Southern Natural Gas Co. out of Birmingham, AL. My part was to recreate the guest list. This Powerpoint presentation includes before and after images.
