Successfully launched the airline industry’s first ever in-seat video / intranet for long haul aircraft (Passport™). Secured incremental business by implementing a value-added strategy. Generated worldwide sales of the Sony Video Walkman™ personal video player to 18 airlines totaling more than 22,000 units.

Directed a 22% growth from $82M to $100M. Restructured Sales and Customer Service; rationalized product line; established pricing policy that enhanced manufacturing efficiencies and increased profits. Negotiated the two largest LTAs in company’s history – a $130M agreement with Triumph Composite Systems to supply Boeing floor panel material and a $73M sole source contract with Boeing for Kevlar™ honeycomb. Spearheaded an effort that resulted in becoming Boeing’s “2007 Supplier of the Year”. Led the team to finalize long term agreements with all major airframe manufacturers in the commercial, bizjet and military markets, airlines, and third-party MROs. Identified new product opportunities, coordinated the development approach with R&D, affirming proof of concepts with key customers.

Managed sales growth from $110M to $150M. Re-branded existing products and systems while restructuring the sales and marketing organization after acquisition of the IFE Group from B/E Aerospace. Performed proof of concept for the iSeries™ high speed broadband system among airframe manufacturers and major airline operators which led to a successful product launch and more than a 40% increase in booked business.
