Work closely with planning department to help achieving the best production plan.

The successful execution of the import & export process including (International Commerce aspects; procurement, negotiations, purchasing DOCs (PO, PI, LC), pre-shipment inspection, Supply chain management, Logistics, Freight &Shipping and its Docs(BL), Customs clearance, and its Docs ( Co, Ci, Pl) road forwarding, bank, and etc.(

Build, maintain and update the suppliers and contracts data base.

Create Purchasing procedures, forms and flowcharts.

Perform analysis to support make or buy decision.

Effectively handle negotiations with vendors freight forwarders, brokers, and freight carriers.

Directly manage movement of foreign goods to warehouses located throughout Egypt.

Utilize extensive knowledge of manufacturers, brokers, customs, and freight forwarders.

Establish highly efficient systems and reports processes to ensure all deadlines were met and cost-controlled. Also significantly reduce customer charge-backs, thereby increasing overall company profit..

Handle all negotiations, including setting prices in order to achieve specific profit margins.

Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.

Work in advance to ensure timely clearance of the shipments.

Identify cost reduction measures, including opportunities for additional negotiations on materials/supplies, supplier relationship cultivation, and other innovative steps that directly led to significantly decreased expenditures.

Good aknowledgment of the latest rules and regulations related to customs and release of goods

Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution.

Supply development department with newly discovered products & materials, chemicals and manufacturing techniques used globally qualifications.

Search for approved international suppliers based on quality, price, selection, service, support, viability, reliability, production, and the supplier’s reputation and history. 

Conduct pricing survey for vendors, shipping and clearance agencies to identify lowest cost and best service quality.

 Negotiate with the international suppliers to achieve best, product and material price offer and best service.


 Liaise with the shipping companies / freight forwarders / Customs Agents and organizing all documentation related to Sea / Air.


Manage all logistics activities.


Handle all imported cargoes ready for clearance in the suitable time Keeping in touch with clearance Company/Office to arrange clearance ASAP.


Handle all the payments requests and bank requirements needed for clearance company.


Prepare and compile documents required by governments to ensure custom and excise requirements are met.


Prepares periodic purchasing performance reports to top management .

Interpret for business meetings with foreign companies and businessmen..

Review and follow up on all foreign purchase orders requested by all concerned parties /departments /administer from date of order to point of origin to final destination.

Search for approved international suppliers based on quality, price, selection, service, support, viability, reliability, production,  and the suppliers reputation and history. 

Sort and review samples before production so the production is according to the quality standards.

Create and communicate product specifications to factories.

Negotiate Ocean freight rates with surface shipping companies, airlines, trucking companies.

Preparation of all Air -Ocean import-export international Documents - to comply with International Trade-rules and regulations -including under Letters of Credit.


Check all necessary documents for clearance purposes to ensure the order execution is as agreed .


Control all received containers in term of grace period, to avoid any storage or detention charges.


Contact with international suppliers, vendors to ensure that goods come in on time, and in case of problems trace shipments and follow up undelivered goods.


Knowledge of Customs Brokers Clearance and needed government Docs.

Translation of documents/letters from English To Arabic & vice versa
