She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In addition, she earned her Doctor of Medicine from Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi,, and completed residencies at both Civil Hospital in Karachi and Mount Sinai School of Medicine’s Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York.
