I am an activist, outdoorsman, artist, and student organizer from Western Massachusetts. I am skilled in outdoor leadership with youth and adults, speak English and Spanish, and love working with the Earth. I am interested in working with any organization that seeks to make the world a more just and loving place.

Video producer for the Communications Department. I create videos and written stories to broadcast a 'slice' of COA life to prospective students, alumni, parents, and community members.

Retail and Farmhand

Beech Hill Farm
Organic farm on Mount Desert Island. Responsibilities include running the farmstand (retail) as well as working in the fields and preparing crops for CSA shares, et cetera.

Campaign Representative and Caucus Captain


Represented Bernie 2016 at the Mount Desert Island caucus. Gave a speech on behalf of Bernie Sanders, counted votes for Bernie, and reported results from all three towns on Mount Desert Island to the campaign.

Worked with two other organizers to lead a team of student volunteers to create the inaugural TEDx event at Kalamazoo College in May of 2015. Responsibilities included advertising and branding oversight, speaker selection, web and graphic design, video production, and group leadership and facilitation. TEDxKalamazooCollege is an independently organized event operated under license from TED.

Camp Counselor (Seasonal)

Rowe Camp and Conference Center

Counselor during annual session at a sleep-away summer camp for 13-15 year-olds, focusing on community and relationship building held within the context of Unitarian Universalist values.  A group of 15-20 staff create and facilitate the camp curriculum, including all workshops and activities such as the reflective sharing space known as Chapel that takes place each night. Each counselor lives with a group of 8-10 campers in a cabin for the three-week session.

Whitewater Raft Guide (Seasonal)

Zoar Outdoor
Raft guides create a positive customer experience on the 6-hour trip down the Deerfield River's whitewater while embodying the values of Zoar Outdoor. Daily responsibilities include loading equipment, packing lunch, registering guests, entertaining and guiding customers while mitigating risk on the river, receiving extensive training and first aid certification, conducting paddling drills for guests in the raft, serving lunch, putting equipment away, cleaning up lunch and trash at the end of the day, maintaining wetsuits and other gear, running slide shows, driving shuttles and trailers, and having fun!

Fundraising Manager, USA

Project Genesis, NGO
Taught English and Math at Project Genesis, a registered nonprofit serving young children outside of Chimaltenango, Guatemala (9/13-12/13). Created a video documentary about the project, and successfully managed three separate fundraising campaigns for the NGO using the crowdsource website (12/13-2/15). I am currently managing the U.S. based fundraising operations, as well as designing a permanent online presence for the nonprofit.
