Summary

Gavin is a leading technologist and author of 'A Beginners Guide to a Faster & More Secure PC'. His experience is from working in the IT reseller channel and as a shareholder and senior manager for e-learning and telecommunications providers. He has broad experience working both nationally, overseas and on projects of significance.

  • Gavin solely designed and led the development team of a Learner Management System to improve administration efficiency and provide a centralised Management Information System.  This system was so successful that it was subsequently endorsed by The University for Industry and adopted by other national training centres.
  • In 2000, Gavin led the supply and installation of a large IT network infrastructure to support a multi-national archaeological dig in southern Albania.
  • In partnership with D-Link, Gavin managed the installation of one of the first wireless networks into a UK school.

Starting in 2001 Gavin led Midland's based e-learning provider ASA Training Ltd to be awarded by the University for Industry as Nottinghamshire's sole Premier Business Centre.  Such an accolade led to large contracts with Barclays Bank and provision into the Public Sector.

Gavin is a member of the Technology Channels Association and sits on the national CompTIA Reseller Forum.
