Research Officer and Administrative Assistant, a Program funded by the Italian Embassy in Beirut through the United Nations Development Programme, Lebanon Renewable contract as a Research Officer and Administrative Assistant with the UNDP, placed at the Lebanese Ministry of Environment working in the Department of Public Relations and External Affairs under the program entitled:“ The Integrated Waste Management of Baalbek Caza”. Research on topics related to the environment, particularly international conventions and international debates, responding to requests for information from media or ministry staff, Preparing day-to-day correspondence and reports for the department as needed, Coordinating with ministry staff and follow-up on internal memos and issues within the institution; supporting the 1 organization process of public events and participating in several high-end level meetings with members of civil society, different ministers and general directors along with other departments representatives from the MoE to discuss and solve issues at hand. Coordinate various related matters with counterparts, translate documents from Arabic to English and or French and vice versa, as may require.

Internship Got to know how a Lebanese governmental body works, was placed at the Ministry of Environment as“ technical assistance”. Worked to develop and function as a team in the Department of Public Relations and External Affairs, publishing updated fact sheets and helpful documents, statistics on different topics that were externalized to the ministry staff. Contact with external agents(civil society and government) regarding visa issuance and more, reply to invitations and follow up on agendas related to the department, i.e. yearly convention and focal point meetings. Update and send info to the media and reports to the Minister of Environment and the Director General.
