Hello! My name is Kaitlin Shrier and I am a senior at the University of Oregon. I am a journalism major emphasizing in public relations with minors in communication studies and English. I am currently the Editorial Services Director as well as an account executive for Start Making a Reader Today (SMART) for Allen Hall Public Relations, the student-run PR firm on campus. When I’m ready for a break from my schoolwork, I enjoy traveling, writing, scrapbooking, taking dance classes and playing tennis. I have a particular interest in international public relations and one of the things I love about the field is the opportunity to interact with people from all over the world - partly why I enjoy traveling as much as I do. I was raised in Hillsboro, Oregon and hope to move back to the Portland area after graduation and work at a public relations or marketing firm, or become a mediator.
