• Minor: Information Systems. • Cum Laude: Cumulative GPA: 3.66, Accounting classes GPA: 3.81. • Recipient of Jon Mozo Endowed and Edward Smith Family scholarships (full tuition). • Researched primary sources for a Deloitte case study that focused on leases. Performed extensive research to determine if specific provisions in the lease should be included in calculation of the minimum lease payments. After our research was completed, we successfully presented and defended our conclusions to a panel of judges that consisted of two Deloitte employees and four accounting professors. • Won first place in a school accounting competition based on a Harvard Case Study. Groups were given two weeks to formulate their answers as to whether or not the company in question employed accounting practices that provided useful information to users of their financial statements. Presented and defended our conclusions to a panel of six judges. • 12 university credits of Tagalog (Filipino) study.
