I currently work at CBS 4 Miami, where I edit and cut highlights for the daily local-sports television segments. I also assist with the preparation of The Sports Zone on Saturday nights and The Sports Wrap on Sunday nights.
I was a PR intern for the Taylor Hooton Foundation in Washington, D.C., where I was in charge of generating more attention to the foundation by using social networking, research and pitching events to the media. I created their Twitter, Facebook and Facebook Group pages, which have a combined 1,600 friends, followers and fans.
I produced "The Stigma Stops With Me," a reality web series on an AIDS patient living in South Florida. I assisted the production team on several shoots, and I was in charge of setting up shoots. The web series was published on the Miami Herald website and has received national recognition. After its debut, the series was picked-up by PBS. PBS has the series on its website and also published my essay on AIDS in the Hispanic Community.
I have done a little bit of everything in the media world.
