My unconventional background—an upbringing in big-city Kuala, Lumpur, Malaysia followed by a transplant to small-town Columbia, Missouri—has injected a distinctive voice and perspective into my writing. My genuine interest in unearthing the unusual out of the mundane will be an invaluable asset to any media publication.

As an impending journalism graduate, I'm not buying the hype that print media is dead-- it's just evolving.
