I am an Assistant Team Leader for Insource Performance Solutions, based out of Charlotte, NC and contracted to MOEN faucets of Sanford, NC. I assistĀ an Insource Team Leader for 3rd shift, Plater 4 in all aspects of her duties on a production floor for a line of faucet parts. As a 3rd shift team, we produce 106% to 110% of our shift goals. We manage 6 associates in the placement of parts (racking), before the plating process and removal of the same products (unracking) after the completion of the plating process. I replace the associates during their break and lunch cycles. I am the 3rd shift material handler retrieving and repositioning faucet parts before and throughout the shift for the associates to hang for plating.

Trained to operate several types of fiberglass machines for the production of several thousand dollar, industrial water purification tank and filter systems. Worked with resin molds and the packing and shipping of completed filter systems.

As an Administrative Assistant, I created, implemented, and managed detailed Microsoft Office spreadsheets, documents, presentations, and communication traffic for a private corporation to facilitate the production of reverse engineered microchip products in a Research and Development Facility of approximately 40 personnel. Filing and answering phones were part of the general duties. Being creative and flexible is what I do best. Security has always been what has driven me above my peers to positions of new responsibility.

Administrative Assistant

Motorola

As an Administrative Assistant in Motorola's wafer producing facility, I served 6 managers, on a floor of 165 engineers in their wafer producing plant. I maintained their records, produced MS Office documentation to include written reports, presentations, flowcharts, and organizational charts in addition to filing and answering a multiple line phone. I scheduled interviews and maintained their calendars through MS Outlook. I did everything I could to take the load off my managers to allow them more time to do the critical work needed to manage the engineers producing silicon wafers used to produce microchips.

1992 - 1997

Training NCO (Office Manager)

US Army

Was principal operations manager for US Army administrative office functions on Ft Bragg, for a US Army Heavy Equipment Company of approximately 120 personnel and while deployed to Somalia 7 months, Bosnia 10 months (secret clearance and courier license were required), and the clean-up of Hurricane Andrew in Homestead, Florida for 3 months, with a mobile PC and printer with zero downtime to equipment or administrative reporting procedures allowing not only our unit, but the teams we supported to have the engineering assets when and where they needed them.

PC Repair

I have been repairing PCs since 1992 when the military instructors for my new job position said not to worry, "you can't break it." I quickly learned then that I not only have an aptitude as an administrative soldier, but also I could fix what I broke. Since I have gone to Central Carolina Community College to learn PC hardware repair and now I fix PCs on the side mostly as a hobby, cannibalizing broken PCs and making working PCs from them. I give these away. I have 2 laptops and 2 desktops in my home, built from broken PCs. I have also helped the engineers in my last position replace hard drives, RAM, and minor repairs to save the I.T. team time driving to our remote facility to do small repairs on PCs.

Microsoft Office up to 2010

I have been using the main MS Office products to include Visio extensively since it;s inception. I have grown with the software learning and using it in daily applications to produce everything from standard documents to to reports containing graphs, flowcharts, and organization charts. I enjoy utilizing MS Office to give my managers and staff the administrative products they need to accomplish their goals.

I am a currently an Assistant Team Leader with a wealth of experience to draw upon to enable me to excel in my duties. I have military experience, working as a Training Sergeant/Office Manager in peace time and in overseas situations of hostility, I have corporate experience working with Motorola in RTP, NC and manufacturing experience working with a reverse engineering company in Sanford, NC.

I am married to a wonderful woman and have been for 34 years, raised two daughters, and completed 20 years of military active duty serving with the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army with multiple awards and an honorable discharge. I am a church member and have volunteered in many capacities over the past 20 years.

My career goals are to continuing to do my best as a leaderĀ and to go back to college and get my degree in Business Administration.

I have led soldiers in times of conflict, I have been a positive influence on those around me and I am not afraid of change.
