Provide strategic planning, M&A, business development, & marketing services for technology-focused businesses.

  • Co-founded Key Bridge Partners, a private equity firm targeting industrial companies with sales between $15-$100M. 
  • Acquired niche component manufacturer in fragmented industry (<$10MM sales), with high margin aftermarket revenue streams. Add-on product line acquired in 2009.
  • Co-founded Discovery Post, award-winning educational products company.  Secured angel and credit finance. Launched 35 new products, resulting in national “Best New Products” awards. Established national salesforce.
  • Developed integrated marketing and sales channel strategy and refined value proposition for turbine manufacturer in the renewable energy sector.  Currently securing project finance.
  • Developed Business System for manufacturer of self-service kiosk systems (ATMs) integrating strategic planning, financial planning, organization reviews and performance evaluations into a corporate planning calendar.  Created Balanced Scorecard with targeted KPIs.
  • Sold small (< $5M) health care provider for 2.5x original offer.

Senior marketing executive of $160M business unit of Danaher company and a world leader in environmental monitoring systems.  Products included Leak Detection Systems; Tank Gaging Systems; Local Area Network (LAN) Ethernet Cards; Interface Modules; Wireless Communications; Fuel Meters; Submersible Pumps; and, Vapor Recovery Systems.

Senior marketing executive, growing 12% in mature markets while gained 400 basis points of operating profit (39% to 43%).   Responsible for global strategic planning, major business processes, business and performance metrics, global product portfolio management, new product development, sales channel programs, PR and channel-marketing. Directed 10 managers (Global Product Managers, Sales Channel Manager and Marcomm).

Liebert division of Emerson Network Power is a $1.2B world leader in networking, data-center and telecomm equipment; an Emerson Electriccompany.  Equipment includes Hardware Monitoring and Control Systems, including  Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Systems; Network Monitoring Software; Power Conversion; Power Distribution; and Environmental Monitoring and Control systems.

Recognized as a successful change agent, I received rapid promotions with fast paced assignments in Strategic Planning, Marketing, Global Product Development, M&A and Corporate Restructuring/Operations. Managed 8 direct reports and project teams with over 100 indirect reports.

As the senior marketing manager for the network peripheral business unit, I was responsible for strategy development, global operational reviews, new product development, forecasting, profit optimization, and sales channel development.  New products and sales channels resulted in sales growth of 15.5% CAGR, increased market share while doubling OP. 

Left when I was recruited by Danaher's Veeder-Root company.

Participated in company’s strategic and marketing plans.  Led strategic company initiatives to re-capture declining repair and aftermarket share, expand into tangential markets – resulting in sales growth from $35M to $95M over a three year period.
