Gurjot Marwah, M.D., is a Psychiatrist with 20 years of experience, currently practicing in Tempe, Arizona. Educated in India, Dr. Marwah speaks Punjabi, Hindi, and English. She completed her early schooling at H.M.V. College in Jalandhar, Punjab, India, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1987. In 1991, Dr. Marwah received a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). She then spent a year as a rotating intern at Civil Hospital in Jalandhar. Next, Dr. Marwah was named House Officer in the Department of Surgery and maintained this title for a year before deciding to move the United States. Gurjot Marwah completed the necessary steps to pass the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and relocated to Phoenix, Arizona.

In Phoenix, Dr. Marwah joined the staff at Maricopa Medical Center as a Rotating Observer in the Department of Psychiatry. She spent the next four years as a Psychiatry Resident and completed the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology exam. Since February 2002, Gurjot Marwah has been a Psychiatrist at a private practice in Tempe. Currently treating patients in Tempe and the surrounding communities of Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Paradise Valley, Phoenix, and Scottsdale, Gurjot Marwah has become a pillar of the Tempe community since accepting her first position at Maricopa Medical Center in 1996.
