Packaging lead for Dry Dinners, Liquid Beverages, and Pickles

•Drove npd packaging for Liquid Coffee Creamers platform. Worked with packaging suppliers and line mechanics to create designs that exceeded customer expectations, minimized trial risk, and expedited timing without compromising quality.

•Managed research development for Dry Dinner multipacks. Created initial film process to minimize order lead times and optimize production for new equipment. Implemented SOP over $2.3 million business and applied findings across other THF business units.

•Established root cause analysis for Microwave Cups quality issue. Assembled core team to discuss and execute testing plan. Found immediate solution and implemented findings to win customer bid.  

•Built strong business relationships with world class material and equipment vendors including  WestRock, Fort Dearborn, Midland Packaging, Robbie Flexibles, Bell, Ring Containers, Berlin, Graham, Silgan, Printpack, SMI, and Texwrap. 

•Collected packaging specifications from suppliers. Composed and managed said specifications across multiple business units, using SAP. Converted specifications to be utilized for BOMs between SAP and PDM.

•Leveraged creative skills to drive $3.9 million in packaging productivity for Easy Mac Cup 8ct cases. Optimized cup orientation by inverting cups driving a decrease in the size of the secondary packaging. Worked through CAPE software to increase unit load efficiency by 43%.

•Lead research to resolve a chronic quality issue impacting Taco Bell Dinners Kits. Created testing plans and executed them in multiple markets across North America. Analyzed research data and identified solution. Created plan for solution implementation.

•Composed packaging specifications using Kraft’s internal system, Meridian. Worked with Kraft Master Data team to establish packaging specification changes from Meridian to SAP.
