As a campus representative for the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce's Greater Grads program, I worked with a small team to advertise for the annual career fair. Using social media, such as twitter and facebook, as well as mass media advertisiments, grass roots campaigns and word of mouth, we met our goal of increasing the annual number of OSU students in attendance by ten percent.

While interning for St. John I was gained valuable experience such as writing press releases, assisting with research for upcoming social media campaigns, accompanying the director to a local news station for filming and organizing a media contact database.

As a public relations specialist, I implement internal and external campaigns. I work closely with other departments, such as human resources and underwriting, to develop strategies and collateral materials to meet their needs. I am also the editor of our monthly internal publication, which reaches 400 employees, and a contributor for our quarterly policyholder publication, which reaches 26,000 customers. My strong copy writing and copy editing skills are essential in this position as I consistently draft employee, legislative and policyholder communications.

I assisted customers over the phone with problematic vehicles. My responsibilties included scheduling roadside assistance and service for customers, maintaining customer and call records, and issuing purchase orders. I was consistently ranked as one of the top agents in the call center, with the best call handle time and quality assurance scores.
