Summary

Gregory Smith has worked as a professional singer/musician/educator in Mississippi for the past ten years. His work as a classical soloist includes performances with Mississippi Opera, Meridian Symphony Orchestra, Gulf Coast Opera, Harrower Opera, USM Opera, and MSU Recitals.His interests have also encompassed the allied arts of stage production and piano.  As a community arts specialist, he has been associated with organizations, such as, JonesJunior College, Gideons International, Mississippi Arts Commission, Laurel Community Chorus, EllisvilleStateSchool, Laurel Little Theater, Laurel Housing Authority, and numerous Protestant churches.He has completed the Masters of Arts in Teaching Program at William Carey University for Class A Teaching Licensure K-12 in Mississippi and has received his Teaching License for Mississippi in Vocal Music and Instrumental Music (K-12).  He has also done some work toward a Doctor of Education Degree at Delta State University.
