A Project Management Professional certified by the Project Management Institute, Grant Stewart currently serves as a Senior Project Manager with Blue Shield of California in Sacramento. Stewart brings more than a decade of managerial experience to the position. At Blue Shield, he holds responsibility for assembling and directing project teams, ensuring that the project’s schedule and budget are met, and consulting with clients and management about issues affecting the project. Prior to his work with Blue Shield, Grant Stewart worked as a Manager with the business consulting firm Cambria Solutions, Inc. Stewart worked with the California Departments of Transportation, Finance, and Health Care Services to complete a variety of projects. He previously functioned in a similar capacity as Senior Manager with the Trinity Technology Group, focusing his attention on the California Department of Health Care Services. An alumnus of Humboldt State University, Grant Stewart graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Stewart’s first position after college was as an Analyst and Team Leader with Applied Materials, where he gleaned valuable experience with SAP products. With this knowledge, he embarked on his consulting career with Compuware before accepting a position with the County of Sacramento as a Senior Business System Analyst. In this position, Grant Stewart managed a team of a dozen business professionals and oversaw several information technology projects for the county. Stewart also spent time as a Manager with Deloitte Consulting, where he directed projects for the U.S. Department of Defense, Denmat Corporation, and Southern California Edison.The father of three boys, Grant Stewart supports his sons’ athletic pursuits by serving as an assistant coach with the Arden Park Soccer Club. He also volunteers with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento. A soccer player himself, Stewart helped Humboldt State to a league championship and currently plays with the Sacramento Turn Verein Soccer Club.
