Grant Senner, MD is Founder and Principal of Sentinel Consulting Group with more than ten years experience in medical finance, medical practice management, business development and applied biomedical research. Upon completion of his Doctorate, Dr. Senner served as Fellow and Consultant for the State of Arizona’s Medicaid agency where he focused on quality and utilization management, network development, physician contracting and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) reimbursement models on behalf of the agency. Subsequently, he worked in the private sector as Director of Business Development and Patient Services for a successful outpatient physical therapy, orthopedic and wellness firm. In this capacity, he generated and deployed complete business development, marketing and operational strategies for multiple new facilities, establishing vital strategic partnerships with members of the academic and medical community. He then went on to serve as Director of an ophthalmic medical device firm and was responsible for development of comprehensive US and OUS reimbursement planning and commercialization strategy to achieve sustainable market adoption by retina specialists. In this role, he also provided key clinical trial, operations, quality system and management support. An Honors graduate of The University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Dr. Senner attended The University of Arizona College of Medicine and graduated with his Doctorate of Medicine in 2004. His extensive bioscience experience includes utilization of molecular techniques and robotic microarray to characterize the progression of cancers and mechanisms underlying cardiac defects. Dr. Senner sits on The University of Arizona College of Medicine’s Alumni Board and serves on the Executive Committee of the Tucson Fiesta Bowl.
