- Plan and implement a program of study that follows the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) guidelines and, as much as possible, meets the needs, interests and abilities of students. 

- Implement research based practices that engage all students; acknowledging a range of abilities and cultural backgrounds. 

- Implement research-based teaching strategies to make input in students' second language comprehensible and stimulate the language acquisition process in all four language domains (listening, speaking, reading and writing).

- TAP Leadership Participation (TLT): Analyze student data to identify professional needs and assess teacher observation results. 

- Cluster Group Planning and Implementation: Lead or Co-lead weekly cluster meetings and maintain the cluster group record. Provide appropriate classroom follow-up when time permits. 

- Observation/Conferencing: Conduct classroom observations and conferences for both announced and unannounced observations.

District Bilingual Dyslexia Consultant

- Work with the district dyslexia team to review bilingual assessments for indicators of a reading disability. 

- Attend training on bilingual education and reading disabilities. 

- Research and present findings on dyslexia and bilinguals.
