Carries out enhanced export management, manufacturers' agent, country manager, retained direct marketing, financial engineering, representative networking, distributive and co-partner relationships and investment activities. Trades and sources principally in Asia/Vietnam and the U.S. Carries out actions in: infrastructure, energy, transportation, industrial, seafood, private label, amusement, leisure, medical, healthcare, and environmental products and services.

Chairman, George Bush 41 Presidential Election Campaign, International Economic Issues Group, 1986-88:  Established the international economic, Pacific, energy, and defense issues groups.  Actively managed the largest issues group composed of legal, trade, and economic and political professionals.  The international economic issues group (globalization) focused on strategy, state of the economy, international trade, capital flows, competitiveness, world debt and development, and national economic security.  Served in a similar campaign issues capacity in 1992. Slated for a US State Department appointment concerning Vietnam in a potential second Bush 41 term, in 1993.

Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army Reserve 1968-2002:  Direct Presidential Appointment, 1968.  Department of Defense, 1973-94, Served as an individual mobilization augmentee (IMA), at the Pentagon and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), as a Joint Staff and Foreign Area Officer-Economist-Instructor, in strategic, command, consultative and conceptual duties which involved management, information development and production, global economic analysis, strategic policy development and joint, combined, allied defense issues. 1982 Resident Graduate, Army Command and General Staff College. Served in Vietnam, 1969-70, Military Assistance Command Vietnam (MACV), CORDS, civil-embassy-division advisor, carried out extensive all-source coordination, airborne, and command responsibilities.  Awarded Bronze Star, Air Medal. Retired 2002.

Trade and Investment Consultant, World Congress, LLC, Boston, MA:  Developed and carried out with others the first major Washington, DC Business and Investment in Vietnam Conference, May 1994. Developed the Vietnamese delegation to the conference that was headed by the person who is a recent former President of Vietnam and another who is now the Vietnam Minister of Investment and Planning.  Similar relationships remain in Vietnam's state enterprises, and other public and private trading entities. Advised the Washington, DC World Economic Development Congresses, in 1994 and 1996.

Financial Consultant, Walker & Company, Reston, Virginia.  Developed and coordinated an equity and debt raising activity to re-capitalize a suburban office portfolio.  1990.

Director of Consulting and Investment Services, L. J. Hooker International, Inc., an Australian international property firm, Washington, DC:  Coordinated the disposition and acquisition of major commercial properties portfolios for the USA Mid-Atlantic region and nationally.  1987-90.

President, The READ Group, Washington, DC:  Developed and managed with investors, two early, real estate owned, marketing, and financial, information and asset management firms related to distressed properties, portfolio and workouts.  Development an early major national, asset recovery database -Readnet and recovery activities before the advent of the RTC.  1986-87.
