**Working with Allen Bradley PLC's and VDF's to troubleshoot and maintain operation of High Speed scan tunnels and

conveyor systems, making changes as necessary to improve operations and reduce downtime. Work with RSLogix,

DeviceNet, Allen Bradley PowerFlex 40, 70 and 700 Series.

**Level IV Controls Engineer who reports to the maintenance manager to organize and coordinate activities of other

technicians. Maintain operation of High Speed Sortation system including Bar code scanners and camera systems,

precision dimensioning systems, ISS and SGS networks, PLC networks (including Device net and Control Net), wired and

wireless Lans. Maintain and repair all aspects of the plant, including electrical, hydraulic, automated controllers, HVAC,

welding, wood working, scales, conveyors and scanners.

**I was an essesiential part in the success of a new expansion where new buildings and equipment were installed and was

part of the expansion inspections and buy offs. Assisted in determining the correct PM's for equipment and determining and

evaluating spare parts inventory and min/max levels. I also trained maintenance technicians on servicing and maintaining

the new equipment, as well as doing the final OSHA inspection list.Communicate daily with the Maintenance Manager to

discuss daily activity and set up a plan for the day/week for all the technicians, creating PM lists for each technician and

entering all activity into our I-Maint system which logs all parts, activities and repairs by each technician and orders parts

based on min/max levels.

**I recently updated all of our inventory, removing obsolete items and adjusting for our new parts and equipment.

**Instrumental in improving system process and efficiency, increasing throughput and reducing downtime documenting

and implementing through the entire lifecycle of the project.

**Work closely with Remote IT to coordinate and implement software and hardware updates and backups.

**Created policies and procedures as well as improve efficiency and reduce cost.

**Successfully participated in Corporate Headquarters expansion projects that improved throughput andincreased security

and redundancy.

**Savedaved the company over $100,000 per year through process improvements and system changes such as

improving the read rates at all the scan tunnels, increasing the throughput at the unload by repositioning conveyors,

reprogramming the speed of conveyors to increase flow with smooth transitions and creating a procedures and

I am self motivated and have over 15 years experience in the Industrial Maintenance field.  I was the only tech specialists level 4 at FedEx Ground. I was responsible for multiple management processes including Inventory Control/spare parts, Preventative Maintenance scheduling, inspection and closing out work orders, order parts, handle service tickets, working with vendors, and I also plan out the daily activity for the technicians and prioritize the work load accordingly. I provide training and mentoring to all technicians and lead through example and positive enforcement, taking advantage of each technicians best qualities.
