Associate Technical Professional/Production Enhancement Engineer

  • While in the field, I’m responsible for running and coordinating a production enhancement job including the duties of; over seeing and maintaining hydraulic fracturing fluid properties throughout a job, performing job calculations to track different variables such as total proppant, water and gel being used, using and mastering Halliburton’s IFS software, generation of final cost estimate of completed job, and am usually Halliburton’s primary representative in the field for any given customer.
  • I’m also responsible for creating the design of a production enhancement/fracturing job for both vertical and horizontal wells as well as acid jobs. This can include at a minimum identifying the fluid system and proppant type and amount being used, adjusting pumping rates, determining what chemicals will be needed and calculating the total needed for the job, identifying and recommending what equipment will be needed for the job and coordinating all of this with various Halliburton team leaders and customer representatives
  • Responsible for the inspection and completion of all lab analysis of fluids and chemicals used for the job.
  • I have trained other Halliburton associates while in the field to better understand jobs that utilize unique features such as N2 or CO2.
  • I’m one of three engineers exclusively retained by QEP Resources for stimulation jobs on the Pinedale Anticline based on effectiveness and customer service. 
  • I have PEC and MSHA Safety Training and have worked in high H2S environments.
