Service technician at Service Center


Service Center is a part of the ATS (Atea Technical Services) department. I was responsible to perform service on our contract clients desktops and laptops. At the repair center we received defective IT equipment , diagnosed, ordered spare parts, rapaired and tested it before we closed each case. We used the case management system called Navision. I was in a group of 5 technicians and we were in charge for service of the computers and monitors from the professional market (Business PC´s). Sometimes we repaired Consumer PC´s as well. During a year 2008, Atea made a contract with Samsung Nordic A/S on service of PC monitors and LFD (Large Format Displays), and I was honored to handle the service on them. It became very exciting project and it resulted each year in bonuses from Samsung, since we met Samsung`s expectations regarding the amount of repairs carried out on a monthly basis. In addition , i worked occasionally at some of Atea´s customers as a IT- consultant . As Atea consultants I was responsible for installation and preparation of workstations and giving IT-support. I had some successive projects which resulted in great response from each customer and our work got published in Atea´s weekly newsletter.

Handled the orders by picking the IT equipment from the warehouse and distributing it to the customers. Was responsible for closing the orders before deadlines.

Preparation assistant


As preparation assistant, i was responsible for preparing the notebooks and workstations with operating system and other desired software for our customers, before the equipment was sent out.

Worked 8-month period coz of stdies. Very instructive period for me regarding sale. I was responsible for the sale of mattresses, and in that period of time, i sold mattresses at a value corresponding to 2-year sales.

Very exciting period for me where i leearned everything about managment and customer service. I enhanced my social abbilities by leading a team of 5 coworkers. We performed a freat job and in 2002 we had the best statistics in our district regarding customer satisfaction and finance.

Who am I and what can I offer you?Already in high school, I had a strong interest in IT. It started with programming and knowledge of computer architecture. Since then it has gone up the hill for me in terms of computer skills. I am curious by nature, so I started to open the computers and study what was in them. First I started experimenting and finally I could assemble my own computer from scratch. From that moment I knew that i should work with IT.  Therefore, I started my IT education and it was this world that made me flourish in IT.

I was a perfect candidate to the job as technician at Atea and from the begining I had responsibility for service on monitors in parallel with other tasks. We had the great statistics in each quarterly report with myself in charge, which resulted each time in personal bonuses from Samsung and that made me very proud. Result of that made me to achieve even more, so i perticipated in several group-projects at some of Ateas customers as a consultant. We performed good each time and our work was published  in Atea´s newsletter.  Our reputation had attracted more customers to sign service contracts worth millions of kronor. with Atea.

My interest led me to try beeing IT-supporter at one of Atea´s customers "Hempel A/S". It was a new world for me, but with little help of another collegue from Atea, in no time I was able to give support to approx. 200 users. The client was so happy with our service, they extended the contract for one more year. I have a great reference from this company. Beside Hempel A/S i was consulting in other big companies such as Novo Nordisk, Dong Energy, SKAT, Københavns Kommune etc. During my time as a IT-supporter i had a responsibility resolving the IT related problems that came in to the case management system so called "incidents". That expiriance opened the opportunities for me in sence of multi tasking. We used danish and english language on daily communication. If I had to describe myself in few words, it will be : service-minded, outgoing, passionate about what I do, willing to give extra effort, challenging, good with people and especially loves humor.
