Service technician at Service Center
Service Center is a part of the ATS (Atea Technical Services) department. I was responsible to perform service on our contract clients desktops and laptops. At the repair center we received defective IT equipment , diagnosed, ordered spare parts, rapaired and tested it before we closed each case. We used the case management system called Navision. I was in a group of 5 technicians and we were in charge for service of the computers and monitors from the professional market (Business PC´s). Sometimes we repaired Consumer PC´s as well. During a year 2008, Atea made a contract with Samsung Nordic A/S on service of PC monitors and LFD (Large Format Displays), and I was honored to handle the service on them. It became very exciting project and it resulted each year in bonuses from Samsung, since we met Samsung`s expectations regarding the amount of repairs carried out on a monthly basis. In addition , i worked occasionally at some of Atea´s customers as a IT- consultant . As Atea consultants I was responsible for installation and preparation of workstations and giving IT-support. I had some successive projects which resulted in great response from each customer and our work got published in Atea´s weekly newsletter.
