PolymerLatex was one the world's leading producers of synthetic latex with sites in Germany, Italy, Great Britain and Finland. It was created in 1996 as a joint venture of Bayer, Degussa and Röhm dispersions divisions and supplied customers in the adhesives, carpet, construction, glove, molded foam, paper and textile industries worldwide. Sales revenues in 2007 were EUR 481 million and the company employed some 600 people. In 2011 PolymerLatex was acquired by Yule Catto and merged with Synthomer.

Following an unsuccessful attempt to sell the company as a whole in the summer of 2006, the investors started selling it in pieces, with the majority of business ultimately acquired by BASF.

With a turnover of EUR 20 billion (2005) and about 35,000 employees, Celesio was the European market leader in pharmaceutical distribution. Celesio Solutions was created in 2003 as a new division to provide comprehensive logistics, distribution and added value services to the global pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

As Director Principal Relations responsible for establishing, maintaining and developing the relationships with pharma and biotech companies on top decision-making level and for coordinating the activities of Celesio Solutions affiliates in different countries towards their international customers. This strategic role encompassed commercial and business development aspects, key account management and required very extensive travel.
