From June-December 2009, I have through my consulting company (web2point0 consulting) worked as Social Media Editor in the development of a social media platform in Fritz Hansen. The job consisted of:

  • Mediating the opportunities in using social media in the branding efforts of luxury goods
  • Developing and implementing a strategy for reaching consumers through social community sites such as: a corporate blog, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and Wikipedia. The outcome is called RepublicSpace.
  • Customizing a corporate blog as well as corporate profiles on Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Wikipedia
  • Coordinating the communication across digital media
  • Writing creative content on the various media
  • Tracking & reporting the development within these media
  • Working as a social media advisor for the entire company, facilitating workshops on WEB 2.0

I worked closely together with Fritz Hansen's PR Manager in the efforts to optimize the PR strategy by:

  • Including an online PR approach in addition to print magazines by targeting online magazines and blogs 
  • Mapping relevant blogs within Architecture & Design
  • Incorporating social media into press releases and update it to PR 2.0 to make it more user friendly 
  • Developing the new setup for the Press Room on
