Born in S. Rhodesia, Geoff moved to South Africa as a child. All his life, Geoff has been passionate about cars and motorsport. He started racing at the age of 22 winning his first race at Kyalami GP Circuit and made his way through the ranks leading to sponsored drives and winning the Western Province Saloon Car Championship. Geoff competed successfully in saloon car racing at the major road tracks across South Africa, including the renowned Kyalami 9-hour, Wynns 1000 KM, and the Cape 3-hour at Killarney. Receiving numerous awards for winning races plus accolades such as “Index of Performance” winner in a Kyalami 9-hour race, Rookie of the Year as well as Western Province State Colors for oval dirt track racing. Geoff also served as an instructor for the Western Province Motor Club where he shared his knowledge and skills with up and coming race drivers.
In 1987 Geoff and his family moved to Charlotte, N.C. and became a naturalized US citizens in 2000. Geoff continues to participate in motorsports and driving instruction. He has raced at various tracks, including Watkins Glen, Lime Rock, Road Atlanta, Mid Ohio, Road America, VIR and Roebling Road. He is a highly regarded driver/instructor with Mercedes AMG and SLR, Dodge SRT and Viper Driver Programs plus Michelin Tire Customer Experience, World Class Driving Experience, as well as an instructor for the Ferrari Club, Alfa Romeo Club, BMW CCA, Porsche CCA and the BMW Tire Rack Street Street Survival Teen Program. In 2007, Geoff fulfilled a lifelong dream to drive at Noordschleife Nurburgring.
