Born in S. Rhodesia, Geoff moved to South Africa as a child. All his life, Geoff has been passionate about cars and motorsport. He started racing at the age of 22 winning his first race at Kyalami GP Circuit and made his way through the ranks leading to sponsored drives and winning the Western Province Saloon Car Championship. Geoff competed successfully in saloon car racing at the major road tracks across South Africa, including the renowned Kyalami 9-hour, Wynns 1000 KM, and the Cape 3-hour at Killarney. Receiving numerous awards for winning races plus accolades such as “Index of Performance” winner in a Kyalami 9-hour race, Rookie of the Year as well as Western Province State Colors for oval dirt track racing.  Geoff also served as an instructor for the Western Province Motor Club where he shared his knowledge and skills with up and coming race drivers.

In 1987 Geoff and his family moved to Charlotte, N.C. and became a naturalized US citizens in 2000. Geoff continues to participate in motorsports and driving instruction. He has raced at various tracks, including Watkins Glen, Lime Rock, Road Atlanta, Mid Ohio, Road America, VIR and Roebling Road. He is a highly regarded driver/instructor with Mercedes AMG and SLR, Dodge SRT and Viper Driver Programs plus Michelin Tire Customer Experience, World Class Driving Experience, as well as an instructor for the Ferrari Club, Alfa Romeo Club, BMW CCA, Porsche CCA and the BMW Tire Rack Street Street Survival Teen Program.  In 2007, Geoff fulfilled a lifelong dream to drive at Noordschleife Nurburgring.

Geoff offers individualized instruction in high performance race cars including Ariel Atom, BMW, Ferrari and Porsche to owners and drivers at various tracks. His experience-based curriculum focuses on car control, race and tactical strategies, a competitive mindset in order to improve lap and race times, as well as overall driver knowledge.

With Krause and Associates LLC, Geoff provides Race Coaching for Spec Race Atom owners and drivers at Virginia International Raceway. Working one-on-one with drivers, Geoff offers techniques to develop more efficient car control and teaches strategic cornering and braking skills proven to significantly reduce lap times.

Teen Safe Driving Program Marketing Manager

At RPDE, Geoff was responsible for the development and expansion of the Safe Driving Program a driving school specifically designed for teenagers. He helped create the program design and managed retail marketing efforts, including a grassroots plan with in - house designed brochures and computer generated presentations. Key Achievements included: -Expanding the program to include four events in three cities each year -Establishing community partnerships with Clemson University (SC), Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools System (NC) and Orange County Public Schools System (FL)

Xtreme Measures Teen Driving School

As Director and Chief Instructor of the Charlotte division of the not-for-profit 2 day teenage defensive driving program, Geoff provided students with in car and classroom curriculum including differentiating front & rear wheel drive car control, emergency braking (ABS & non), skid recognition and control, 2 wheels off control, and spatial awareness.

Key Achievements included:

-Grew program from an average of 12 students per school to 60 students (maximum capacity) per school within two years.

-Assisted hundreds of teenagers improve their driving and increase their awareness of the importance of proper car control.

-Was instrumental in selling the program to the Richard Petty Driving Experience, with the aim of taking the program nationwide.
