I've always known I've wanted to be in communications, whether it was when I was a young kid and wanted to be a big movie producer one day. Or now where I live, breath, and sleep advertising (seriously I have had a couple of dreams). I understand that insight and research is key and without it you can never reach your target the way you need to. I'm excited at continuing in this field because to me ads are not just "those annoying interruptions on TV” but actually a very influential medium. The best ones make the audience believe it was their idea to buy that product or order that brand of pizza. Advertising is so much more then the ads you see on TV. At it’s best it connections to people. And at the very least, it usually puts a smile on your face.

I'm self-motivated and communication savvy. Although I work well by myself, my personal philosophy is that it's always best to collaborate with others. Working with others lends itself to constructive criticism (which is not always fun but usually needed) and allows for ideas to bounce off one another. It's great when you have recognized something that makes you smile, but you know that you’re really on the right track when everyone is buzzing about it. I'm extremely interested in the consumer mindset. It's so interesting to figure out what drives peoples motives. My prior work and internship experience has allowed me to explore and try my hand at many different things—as well as perfect the art of making great coffee. My experience can be seen down below on the experience section. However, I know that there are always new things to learn and new things to teach others. I'm eager to continue doing both in the near future.
