About Glenn Ballard Attorney

As an attorney with Bracewell & Giuliani, LLP, in Houston, Texas, Glenn Ballard, Jr., attained extensive management, board, and advisory experience. In an advisory role, he has engaged with a number of corporations in resolving and avoiding bet-the-company, high dollar litigation. Glenn A. Ballard, Jr. has extensive trial experience that encompasses more than 30 jury trials. He has also handled a large number of mediations and injunctions, as well as nonjury trials and arbitrations. As head of Bracewell & Giuliani’s trial section, he led a section that was named one of BTI’s “most-feared trial sections” in 2013. Glenn Ballard was also named individually as a BTI Client Service All-Star in 2013.

Mr. Ballard has maintained board certification with the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Civil Trial Law for the past two decades. He has been voted a Texas Super Lawyer every year since 2003, and was recognized by Chambers & Partners, Chambers USA, in General Commercial Litigation in 2014. An elected associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates since 2007, he earned election as a fellow of the International Society of Barristers in 2013. Mr. Ballard also maintains a strong community presence and has chaired the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program, and the Houston Bar Association's Habitat for Humanity Committee for which he won the organization’s President’s Award in 2007-2008.
