Summary

Glenn BairGlenn Bair has more than 15 years of experience as a project manager and consultant, with expertise in Web content management and development, vendor management, taxonomy, information architecture, and e-learning. Mr. Bair became an independent consultant in 1994. For the next six years, he provided consulting, training, project management, Web development, and interaction design for a host of well-known clients in many different industry sectors, including Motorola Inc., Adobe Systems Inc., and IBM Corporation. In addition, Mr. Bair worked with clients such as Wired magazine, Condé Nast, and BMG Entertainment, as well as McCann Erickson and Ogilvy & Mather. Glenn Bair accepted the position of e-learning Project Manager at Aetna Inc. in 2000. He took responsibility for the technical development of Aetna’s first primary care training initiative as well as a Web content management system for the company’s disease management program. Glenn Bair served in the position for five years and was next named Project Manager. Mr. Bair assisted in implementing systems that streamlined health care procedures and policies used by 7,000 Aetna employees. Named Senior Project Manager at Aetna in March 2007, Glenn Bair joined a team of project managers responsible for managing vendor relationships with specific focus on the company’s provider Web applications. In 2010, Mr. Bair and his peers effected significant medical cost savings for Aetna through the management of a national electronic prescribing initiative. Before beginning his career in consulting and project management, Glenn Bair earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Business Management at Rochester Institute of Technology. After graduation, Mr. Bair served for two years as an Instructor at the Eastman Kodak Company Center for Creative Imaging, where he taught students to employ desktop publishing software and hardware to create publication-quality graphic design projects. Glenn Bair resides in Old Lyme, Connecticut, where he spends his time with his wife, Ann, and his children. Along with his family, Mr. Bair enjoys an active lifestyle that includes camping, boating, and cycling. Glenn Bair is also an avid photographer and has been taking photos for more than 20 years.
