New York City-based physician Glen Marin has been practicing medicine for the past 25 years. Dr. Marin currently serves as President of Patients First Family Medical Care, a group practice that specializes in urgent care, family medicine, and geriatric medicine. He is particularly interested in osteopathic manipulation and physical therapy, allergy care, skin surgery, and clinical nutrition. Licensed to practice in four states, Dr. Marin is board-certified in both family medicine and geriatric medicine. His offices are affiliated with Long Island Jewish Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital at Forest Hills, Beth Israel Medical Center, and Winthrop-University Hospital. Throughout his career, Dr. Marin has been a member of numerous professional organizations. From 1993 to 1995, he was President of the American Academy of Osteopathic Gerontologists. He is currently President of the American Academy of Specialists in Family Practice. Additionally, Dr. Marin is a member of an osteopathic honors society, the American Association of Physician Specialists, and the American College of Family Physicians. Glen Marin holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Pharmacy from Long Island University’s Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He completed a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. Following his academic training, he completed medical and surgical training at both Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, and at Baptist Medical Center of New York.
