"When I saw your redesign of the web page I wondered what have you touched that you have not turned to gold? Likewise, each edition of the Onyx you have produced has been a true work of art.

Thank you for the striking work you do for the Institute of Notre Dame. We are fortunate to be one of your clients."

“I have been working with Lynne for four and a half years in my role as director of Kaleidoscope Lifelong Learning at Roland Park Country School. I have found Lynne to be wonderfully professional, responsive and timely in the projects she delivers to us. Lynne…turns my Word document into a professional catalog which is mailed to over 13,000 households in the greater Baltimore area. She is respectful of the timeline (often in a very short turnaround) and works with the printer to ensure the end product meets our quality expectations.

I have worked with a number of designers over my 20+ years in business and find Lynne to be the most professional and accommodating that I have worked with.”

The Kaleidoscope program was voted BEST Self-Improvement Classes by Baltimore Magazine’s Best of Baltimore 2009.

“Lynne Menefee is creative, cost aware and a jewel to work with. She has done our publications for the past six years and has really done wonders with the limited resources we could offer.”

Jan Wilson

“Lynne’s ability to grasp our communications objectives, her aesthetic eye, and attention to detail combine for stunningly effective pieces which always represent us well. Her design and production expertise help level the playing field between small organizations like ours and those with inhouse, full-service creative departments.”

Diane Stahl

“Rubeling & Associates has had great success in working with Lynne Menefee for 12 years.  From business cards to brochures to our annual ‘Season’s Greetings’ baseball-themed mailer, Lynne has consistently identified our firm’s unique attributes and translated those into creative – and affordable – promotional pieces. And, best of all, she makes the idea development process fun! For each new marketing venture, Lynne suggests a vast array of ideas, and every brainstorming session ends with ‘That’s it!’ from our group. Lynne Menefee and Rubeling & Associates make a great team.  We look forward to more successful marketing efforts in the next 12 years, too.”

Nancy Mugele

“Roland Park Country School has used Lynne Menefee and Menefee Creative for graphic design work for over a decade. Lynne’s creativity, attention to detail and client service are impeccable. Her versatility in designing large scale publications and catalogs as well as invitations and brochures is notable. Lynne Menefee delivers professional and beautiful designs at an affordable price which is important in today’s economy. RPCS values its relationship with Menefee Creative.”

Kim Carlin

"Lynne is an outstanding design partner on complex publication projects. She is a thinking designer who considers the project’s communications goals alongside aesthetic issues, and develops publication design solutions that are reader-friendly, intelligent, and inviting. She’s responsive, a pleasure to work with, and consistently brings 110% to the table.”

Christine Langr

“I’ve worked with Lynne on a number of freelance projects over the past nine years; cool, calm and collected no matter the deadline or request would describe her. She recently picked up a ball that was very badly dropped by another vendor on a Friday at 3 p.m. and delivered the results by Sunday evening. The internal client was exceptionally happy with the results and has asked to work with Lynne in the future. I hope to recommend her to more clients in the future.”

Deborah Hudson

“It is my pleasure to provide an unqualified reference on behalf of Lynne Menefee. I worked with Lynne for more than six years (since 2000). She is the sole designer for the University of Maryland, College of Education materials, having created the College’s entire set of publications: brochures, invitations, envelopes, reports, posters and fliers, and she developed printed programs for several high-priority events.

She is a very skilled and adept graphic designer that offers outstanding customer service to her clients, making every job easy to manage and cost-effective. In fact, one of the reasons we renewed our contract with her year after year is because she continued to find ways to make our pieces very high quality by using creative techniques and sound judgment so that we consistently came in under budget.

Her knowledge of both offset and digital printing processes serves her clients well-she knows how to turn jobs around quickly and make the best use of my time. In a sense, she becomes an expert on the client, in our case, the College of Education, so I was able to ask her to create pieces with little direction and because she understands our needs, she was able to produce outstanding pieces that met our requirements and satisfied our Dean’s wishes.

The College has received many, many comments on our printed pieces and we know our invitations are eye-catching and effective because we get good attendance at our alumni and development events. Our alumni newsletter, Endeavors, is well-received and is an example of a cost-effective piece mailed three times a year to more than 30,000 alumni. I just can’t say enough good things about the relationship we’ve had with her over the years, it has been most productive and her work has advanced the reputation and awareness of the College of Education.

I would be happy to offer additional comments about Lynne’s professionalism and expertise. Please feel free to send me an email.”

Summary

Freelance graphic designer with 20+ years experience running a sole-proprietor business as well as design and production support for advertising/design firms and in-house creative departments. Spectrum of clients include higher education, private and Catholic schools, non-profits, architecture firms, contractors, hospitals, and churches, to name a few.

From concept to final product, hands-ons in every capacity, assuring that projects are high quality and completed on or under budget. This includes art direction for photoshoots and print estimating/supervision to assure that the client gets the best value for the money. Clients are billed directly by the outside vendors for printing and photography so there is never a markup.  Work includes annual reports, catalogs, books, magazines, brochures, branding, invitations, holiday cards, calendars, posters, specialty items, web design, display, banners, newsletters, CDs, direct mail and signage.

I also am a volunteer at GBMC's Nearly New year round. The spring and fall sales net @$250K a year and all proceeds benefit patient care at the hospital.
