Director, Strategic Development and Alliances

The AESC is the worldwide association for the retained executive search industry. I launched and manage the Association's strategic partnership program. Our alliances deliver substantial non-dues revenue for the Association and create value for our members. We service 6,000 executive search consultant members in 70 countries, 350+ member firms, and almost 50,000 senior executives via our career management service, I also lead the pursuit of strategic growth and business development opportunities across all AESC programs globally. Additionally, I serve as a strategic thought leader for our proprietary career management website, In this role, I'm responsible for developing revenue, technology, and content partnerships to better serve our global Senior Executive membership.


I launched AdVentures in 1990 to provide strategic sponsorship and alliance marketing services to properties in the sports, venue, arts and special event domains. My team created powerful and profitable partnerships for under-the-radar properties and those previously not attracting the attention of major corporate sponsors. Based in NYC, with a satellite in Los Angeles, AdVentures represented properties ranging from Santa Anita Park and other leading racing venues, the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day Walks, televised "extreme" sports series, and many other attractions, events, Associations, and causes. I generated tens of millions in sponsorship revenue by creating imaginative and effective programs. Our programs were known for the ROI they delivered our partners. In 2004, I elected to spend more time in Central Park and less time in JFK/LAX, and now work from NYC on select projects providing alliance and partnership marketing vision, strategy and management.
