Outside Broadcast Engineer

Austereo

My main role at Austereo is the Outside Broadcast engineer. It's my job to look after all the audio fed back to the radio station whenever we broadcast on location. This is for both 92.9 and 94.5. The broadcasts can be at almost any location and at any time of the day.

Aside from my OB work I also do casual Image production and carting at Austereo.

Head Technical Supervisor

SAE Institute

As head technical supervisor I maintain all of the studios and equipment available to the students. I have a team of four supervisors.

I also lecturee on a casual basis from certificate to degree level covering all aspects of the audio courses at SAE.

Founder/Audio Engineer

EpicAudio Productions

EpicAudio Productions is a freelance company that I have been running for nearly 2 years. Under this name I work with a variety of artists and companies to produce a high quality professional audio product.

I've worked with bands that vary from Folk to hardcore metal as well as commercial work for companies such as visual fly through's and voice overs.

I have a small studio setup at home and access to large scale professional facilities in Perth.

Head Engineer

Mindarie Senior College

Upon completion of my studies I took a position at Mindarie Senior College as the head audio engineer.

My role was to record, mix and master approximately 18 tracks performed by the year 11 and 12 music students on several occasions.

Aside from the technical aspect I also helped the students in the song arrangement of their original pieces and their overall performance.

My main reason for travelling to Ardross each day was because I had a full scholarship to the Applecross Tennis Program.

I completed and passed all studies, thus preparing myself for future study and employment.
