I am a high-impact, results-oriented media executive, award-winning journalist and marketing expert with a proven track-record in media, corporate communications, business-to-business marketing and public relations. With more than 25 years in project management, marketing, journalism, graphic design, human resources management and finance, I have launched eight weekly newspapers, a radio station, a magazine, a daily newspaper and more than 14 websites; transformed three organizations to make them profitable.

Design and implement sales strategies for print and digital advertising in a goal-oriented environment. Train high-level multimedia marketing specialists in best practices for search engine optimization so they are able to consult with clients about digital advertising using analytics. Organize, plan and prioritize work for a diverse cross-functional team. Implemented creative revenue-producing ideas coupled with strategic cost-cutting measures and made the Pacific Sun newspaper profitable for the first time in the eight years. The division was sold in 2012. Launched a news magazine and four websites. Led the transition of the newsroom from a weekly newspaper to a daily web-based media outlet with a print newspaper component to become the market leader. Coordinated the initial market research and created the marketing collateral, advertising rate cards, contracts, procedures; created editorial design and policies; coordinated the installation of productions systems for the newspapers and the radio station. Created and filled the program schedule for the station; acted as on-air anchor for daily news program on the radio station; and produced the budgets, projections and financial reports for all departments.
