Management Engineer

I am a chartered management engineer, 44 years old, currently working as Country Supply Manager for ADEO group (Leroy Merlin). In Italy there are 48 stores . My principal target is helps all the stores to  build customer trust by ensuring product availability.  transform the supply chain into an interactive operation  manage and optimize every aspect from creating accurate forecasts, collaborating and ordering from vendors, tracking the flow of inventory and responding to customer demand – all while maximizing the entire supply chain performance at a lower total cost-to-serve. Redesign the Supply chain areas, for support the multichannel transformation. Support in terms of training the new Logistic store team.  Before the actual position i worked as operation manager  for IKEA Centres. I managed the safety and security, the cleaning, the maintenance for a 90000sqm (170 shops) TIARE shopping centre the first Italian shopping centre built by IKEA. I was responsible for: the operation Budget (4.000.000 euro /year budget), Facility management , Energy management, waste management . I do this to strengthen the main objectives of IKEA Shopping centre to be leader in our local market and achieve growth and sustained long term profitability.  I also worked for 4 years like Sales Supply Support manager for a 45.000 IKEA retail in a  store ensuring the right balance of the goods considering ordering and sales; I was responsible for guaranty the supplying process . I used my supply process expertise to secure that my team creates excellence in the area of availability, balancing range & space, forecasting and ordering in my store, in order to achieve agreed Service Level at lowest possible cost. I also worked 3 years for Media Profili-Emmegi (ITALY) furniture components, one of the European’s leading furniture parts supplier to IKEA,B&Q,NOLTE,NOBILIA,ALNO, LEROY mERLIN  as Production and Commercial manager for foreign country. Graduated as production manager at Faculty of management and product engineering in Udine, I had two-years experience as IT researcher in the University of Valencia (Spain) .

As Operation Manager i followed the start up of 90000sqm Shopping Centre in Friuli Venezia Giulia.Principal tasks of my job are: Ensure the asset value of the centre, by uninterrupted operations, optimal housekeeping, technical and building maintenance. Ensure that all work is carried out according legalrequirements, Group Documents and other company concepts and standards. Monitor consumption of energy, water and waste to make the retail destination long-term sustainable. Analyse and propose actions to increase tenant and visitor satisfaction related to Operations. Ensure, analyse and follow up on facility measurements, software and reports, distribute key figures to different stakeholders and take actions on findings. Ensure optimised usage and competence of facility software and tools in the retail destination. Procure and manage service providers and contractors for the centre operations. Facilitate technical, safety and insurance related audits, analyse, give recommendations and take action based on the result. Optimise safety and foresee risks in the retail destination. Work proactively to optimise the operating costs by identifying cost savings. Develop and support guest service and maintenance management. In cooperation with Leasing, provide operational support in negotiations with tenants. In cooperation with Construction and Technical recourses, optimise technical standards and demands. Responsible for meeting business goals in terms of quality, time, costs and overall results of the department and that needed resources are in place. Secure that all work is carried out according to Group Documents and other company concepts and standards. Coach and empower co-workers to take responsibility to develop for performance in the business.
